The preparations for our wedding were almost complete, and the
entire mansion was buzzing with excitement. My aunt had
purchased a stunning white lace dress for me, and for the first time
in my life, I felt truly beautiful. It seemed as though my fairy tale
was about to have a perfect ending. Kâmuran and I were on the
verge of starting a new life together, built on years of shared
memories.
However, fate had a cruel plan for me. One evening, just a few
days before the ceremony, a mysterious woman visited our garden.
I was resting behind a thick wall of flowers, invisible to her. She
was speaking to a mutual friend in a low, bitter voice. "Kâmuran is
playing a dangerous game," she whispered. "He has a lover in
Europe—a woman they call the 'Yellow Flower.' He promised to
marry her too. He is only marrying this poor, innocent Feride to
satisfy his family’s wishes."
