The Wren:Chapter 3.2-Ecrin İrem
In that moment, my world collapsed. The vibrant colors of the
garden turned to ash. I didn't confront him; my pride was too
strong for a public scene. Instead, I retreated to my room and
stared at my wedding dress. It no longer represented love; it was a
symbol of betrayal and lies.
I realized that I could not stay in that house a moment longer. I
couldn't bear to look into Kâmuran’s eyes and see the ghost of the
"Yellow Flower." In the middle of the night, with a trembling
hand, I packed a small bag. I took my teacher’s diploma—my only
key to independence—and left a brief, cold note on the table: "I
know everything now. Do not look for me. Farewell."
As I walked toward the train station in the dark, I felt a mixture of
terror and liberation. I was leaving behind my family, my home,
and my broken heart. I was no longer a bird playing in the trees; I
was a woman searching for a new sky where I could breathe again.
